Great place for inexpensive sushi! And the dynamic sticks are awesome. Staff is super nice too!

i had the worst expierce ever ! i told the people i wanted to try some sushi. so i got some, little did i know that they were gonna make me pay for it even though i never ate some of it . everything there is way over priced and their tax is 9.25%

Good place, good food, affordable prices. The wait staff is good and personable. However they only had one girl working the floor and I don't blame her for being busy--but they definitely could have used at least 2 more waiters/waitresses.

Best meal I've had in a week

The food was surprisingly pleasant but the service was incredibly slow and random. We arrived as a four and shortly after we came in, a group of three came and dined at a different table. It took twenty minutes to get our waters and then another fifteen to get the beers. Meanwhile, the other table got their food served. We had some more friends join us but our food arrived an hour and a half later and still some of the orders were wrong. We got given forks and had to ask for chopsticks. Again, waiting. Again, the only other people in there other than the table that came in after us.

Meghan Riddle ,a waitress that works there, is beyond rude. She talks about customers to other customers. Has started drama up there with customers. We went to complain and of course they didn’t do or say anything to her. She got arrested there for doing drugs, I don’t see how they can keep her when she’s doing all of this.

Very friendly staff with an extensive menu. I ordered the dinner bento box with pork katsu. It came with a salad with was average and a choose of clear or miso soup. I chose the clear soup which was a broth of onions and mushroom...it was ok-ish. The bento box with the California roll and fried rice was very good and the pork katsu itself was really yummy! The ambience needs a face-lift but other than that, I would come here again! 😊

I have a gluten allergy so I always have to call ahead at restaurants that feature soy sauce heavily. Not an issue, just what I’ve gotten used to; par for the course. We called ahead tonight and were told that they had gluten free soy sauce. When we arrived we were told, no, there’s none here. I ended up sitting with the group while the others ate. I don’t see the purpose in lying to customers; extremely disappointed.

I've been back a few times. Love the food, prices and combinations offered, but they really need to work on the service. Each time I've been here, the same waitress, has problems delivering the orders together and forgets something for my meal. Here's hoping they improve or I find a better Sushi Restaurant. 🍣🍜😉

It was way better before they changed their menu. Now the only thing that is any good is the beef wraps. But they do have a nice friendly staff.

Authentic family owned and run GREATEST Japanese restaurant in Tupelo. Grilled Salmon and fried rice is delicious and Crab Rangoon fresh made & best I've ever had and their Tupelo Roll is a must is you love cooked rolls or rolls period. The Tupelo Roll has crab, fried shrimp, cream cheese, avocado rolled up in seaweed sticky rice.. Also their Japanese dressing is so fresh and homemade if you opt for salad but you can't go wrong either if you choose their Miso soup instead. I go buy weather, if it's cold out soup and if it's hot out salad.

I absolutely love their sushi. This is one of the few Asian restaurants that doesn't add msg to their seafood.

Before today I would have given them 5. But we got sat and our drink order really fast. They asked if we were ready to order when she came back and we told her just a minute... 20 minutes later, still didn't come back. Waved a waitress down, she looked at us and never came by. Then went to a table who got sat probably 10 minutes after we did. I was very disappointed and we left.

Haven't been here in ages, but it was Tupelo's original Japanese restaurant and still is really good. Seaweed salad is on point and the pink lady roll is excellent.

They opened back up 5/10? Apparently didn’t turn down any order and it was drive thru only. Placed my order at 7:03 Pm 8:22 still in line and it appears they are getting it ready once you pull up. They should learn to say no and not look so greedy. Tell people it wil be an hour or more so they can decide if they want to order or not.

Ate there last night ordered the usual was very disappointed. They changed the food. I ordered tempura sweet potatoes off appetizer I got sweet potato waffle fries. Shrimp was terrible as crab rangoons very cold !! Worst time ever you just lost another costumer.

Best sushi i have ever had. They are willing to customize your food however you want. LOVE the food, GOOD prices, and nice staff!

First of all if you are a real sushi eater don’t eat here. The Sushi was was injected with nitrogen it looked pretty but it didn’t taste very good. Plus I wanted lobster hibachi they overcooked it and They put a bunch of sauce on it when They cooked it I asked him to make me another one not overcooked and I wouldn’t do it plus they wouldn’t take it off my check and I only had one bite out of it.

Loved this place. Food was delicious, the wait staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. We’ve always driven by this place and passed over it because it looked rough on the outside, but it really is a gem on the inside! Highly recommend for delicious sushi, hibachi, and other delicious goodies.

Didn't worth it. Dirty tables, never washed frying pans with old oil, you can feel its unpleasant smell in your food. The tables are so dirty, that your elbows, roughly saying, glue to the tables, and I chose the best one in a row. The lady who came to me doesn't speak English enough to serve. She started offering me something rather in Vietnamese than in English, repeated a few times with no success. I asked her to bring me an orange juice with no ice. First time she brought something with ice and I sent her back. Second time she got me soda with no ice, but with extra water inside. The receipt showed this liquid as pepsi. Sorry guys, it doesn't work this way. Never again.
